Welwyn Garden City Housing Association has been providing homes for local people in the Welwyn and Hatfield area since the 1960s. Being a Housing Association with charitable status, we are registered and regulated by the Tenant Services Authority.

Care is provided for frail older people, including those with dementia, in our 3 star excellent rated Residential Care Home, Elizabeth House, in Panshanger.
The Association has three Sheltered Housing Schemes in Welwyn Garden City, Woodside House, Churchfield House and Elizabeth Close, as well as Hollier Court in Hatfield and Greenfields in Cuffley. The Association has one shared ownership scheme, Willow House, in Welwyn Garden City.
The Association owns and manages one supported housing scheme in Welwyn for older people, with a diagnosis of dementia, who want to live independently.
In early 2011, a further extra care (flexicare scheme) will open in Welwyn Garden City, by way of re-designating an existing sheltered housing scheme.
